Interestingly enough, "Summit's" already been a cornerstone in Denver's LGBTQ+ scene. Since 2008, Denver Summit FC has been synonymous with a top-tier gay flag football in Denver. Part as part part National Gay Flag Football League (NGFFL), this team has won a reputation as one formidable force. >
When Denver's newest NWSL club reached out, it wasn't about taking over. It was about partnership. Working together was a win-win, and both sides knew it.>
