Inside All Stars 10: Denali Talks Bias and Lipsync Results

Denali, one standout from this season's 10th All Stars edition, isn't holding back about her take on episode 8's lipsync decision. Fans have been buzzing, suspecting that some contestants might be getting more love from judges than others.

All Stars 10 has been a rollercoaster, keeping viewers hooked with jaw-dropping drag, surprise dramas, and watching these semi-finalists' stories unfold. With just one episode left before we know who makes it as a finalist, everyone's on edge.

Key moments from The Purple Bracket

In its first episode, we saw Ginger Minj, a seasoned pro, make a splash alongside Daya Betty. Ginger nailed a humor-loaded design challenge, earning her a win. The very following week, she was back at it, sharing top honors with Denali after a country-themed girl group challenge. The lipsync showdown, set against Miley Cyrus' "See You Again," saw Ginger win. But let me tell you, not all fans are on board with that decision.

The fan base has been buzzing with debate over favoritism, with many feeling Denali gave a standout performance. This was especially clear during a watch party at Roscoe's Tavern in Chicago, where Denali took a moment with fans, addressing their concerns about possible bias.

Denali's take on show bias

Denali didn't sugarcoat her thoughts: "This show's called RuPaul's Drag Race; it's a formatted, biased competition with heavy subjective judging," she pointed out. "Certain individuals—the ones who shine or maybe have a special connection with RuPaul—tend get a leg up."

She also admitted if things were tilted more in her favor, that'd be seen as unfair too. Ginger Minj's strengths in country, improv, and comedy were perfect matches in recent episodes, playing right in her wheelhouse.

"You're not dumb," Denali reminded her audience. "You've watched this show forever. You get how this works." Even then, Denali gave a nod Ginger's talent: "Ginger Minj crushes Drag Race. I wouldn't ever want people undermining her abilities. She's been absolute fire this season."

Denali sums it up perfectly: "Two realities can be true: some contestants get a leg up, and those contestants might genuinely be amazing competitors. That's just what it comes down."

Did Denali storm off?

Rumor has it that Denali stormed off stage after losing lipsync. During that Chicago watch party, she admitted she was "super upset" and "seriously mad and disappointed" when she heard about her loss.

"I needed some air, so I walked off briefly," Denali confessed. "Collected my thoughts in like five seconds." Still, she showed nothing but class, congratulating Ginger with, "Ginger, you rocked it. That's awesome," showing how truly professional and graceful she can be, despite everything.

But make no mistake: Denali stood by her performance, declaring confidently: "And I'm sure I crushed that lipsync. Done deal."

Anticipating The Purple Bracket finale

With The Purple Bracket finale just around corner, few contestants will head off semi-finals. They'll join victors from Orange and Pink Brackets, setting up an epic All Stars 10 finish.

Fans eagerly await new episodes every Friday on streaming platforms, ready watch how rest season plays out.
