"I have to say, being celibate and living alone was a bit of an adjustment," he acknowledged. "But now I wouldn’t have it any other way."

"In my twenties, I was madly in love with the same man for almost a decade," he recalled. "It was fabulous. Then one night he told me he’d been sleeping around. I could hardly breathe from grief, humiliation, and despair."
