So, with courage in his heart, Ryan announced through ESPN that he was bisexual, ready at last, he said, "to live openly and authentically." He voiced it plainly: he's not just a football player. He proudly stated, "My truth encompasses being a talented football player, a damn good writer, a loving son, an overbearing brother, a caring friend, a loyal lover, and a bisexual man."
Ryan's journey speaks volumes about more than just being a bisexual athlete. It's about embracing who you truly are in a society that often pressures you otherwise.
