These executive orders, put in place under President Donald Trump since January 20, impose restrictions on government agencies and contractors when it comes participating in diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives. So, Booz Allen Hamilton says it's simply following these compliance requirements.

On their website, Booz Allen Hamilton identifies itself as a leader in advanced technology, committed delivering swift and significant solutions essential defense, civil, and national security priorities U.S. They work with government agencies like U.S. Air Force, U.S. Army, U.S. Marine Corps, U.S. Navy, and Office Secretary Defense.

Explaining their decision, Booz Allen Hamilton emphasized their duty national interests. "We take this responsibility our nation seriously," they stated, highlighting their adherence all laws and regulations, including executive orders.

Capital Pride Alliance, which organizes majority D.C.'s LGBTQ events, including WorldPride 2025, issued a statement. Booz Allen's withdrawal marks first time organization pulled back their financial support, but many other sponsors remain committed this summer's events.
