In a noteworthy exchange about LGBTQ+ representation, Ts Madison, an acclaimed actress and fervent advocate, has shared her thoughts on rapper Snoop Dogg's comments about an LGBTQ+ couple featured in Disney's newest flick, "Lightyear." As a spin-off from "Toy Story," this movie includes a same-sex kiss that has sparked discussions everywhere.
Snoop Dogg, whose real name's Calvin Cordozar Broadus Jr., has been no stranger in past controversies over his remarks on LGBTQ+ matters. However, Snoop's stance came under scrutiny when he talked about his experience watching "Lightyear" with his grandson on an episode from "It's Giving" podcast. His grandson's innocent query about a same-sex kiss took Snoop by surprise. “Papa Snoop, how she have a baby with a woman? She be a woman,” his grandson asked. Caught off guard, Snoop candidly replied, “Aw s**t, I didn't come here expecting this s**t, I came here just trying watch a movie. Y'all putting me on a spot here that I ain't got no answers ready.” It showed his discomfort engaging with LGBTQ+ depictions in media.
