"I didn't particularly feel like I had a place in basketball, being an LGBTQ person. Coming into netball and just seeing the amazing community there was a massive influence on why I fell in love with the game," Forcadilla shared.

"A lot of the time, when you’re doing sport at a high level, you still have to suppress your sexuality. But my experience of being out as gay in an elite sport environment is really empowering," he said.
With his recent marathon in London behind him, Robnett looks to the future with optimism. He is determined to continue using his platform to advocate for inclusivity, making sports a more welcoming place for everyone.
