The grim felony complaint lays out a list horrors, like sexual assaults plus savage beatings with sticks, dog toys, ropes, and belts.
The accused—Precious Arzuaga, Patrick Goodwin, Kyle Sage, Jennifer Quijano, and Emily Motyka—are all facing second-degree murder charges, serious allegations rooted in depraved indifference. They're currently held without bail, their futures possibly holding 15 years life in prison if found guilty.
The District Attorney's Office has taken steps address misgendering concerns in legal documents. They affirm they've committed honoring Sam's identity legally and respectfully.
