RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars 10 has rolled out quite a lineup, inviting back some familiar faces like Tina Burner, who's been opening up about her life since we last saw her on TV.
Meet All Stars 10's talent
On May 22, we saw a host we love hit our screens, including Tina Burner, Kerri Colby, Lydia B. Kollins, Nicole Paige Brooks, Jorgeous, and Mistress Isabelle Brooks, diving headfirst back onto our screens in this season's second wave.
Tina Burner steps back on stage
New York's own Tina Burner first dazzled us during season 13 back in 2021. Now, she's back on All Stars 10, ready with a fresh perspective and eager as ever, determined not just on rejoining but on reimagining her Drag Race narrative.
The road through self-discovery
Before making her All Stars 10 entrance, Tina took a moment on Instagram, painting a vivid picture about what she's been through—how challenging life got after season 13 and what these years have taught her.
"Getting back on screen tomorrow feels like gearing up before a storm," she said. "I wasn't ready back in season 13—for all that darkness, confusion, and hate that followed," she candidly told her followers.
Since claiming seventh place back then, Tina's seen significant personal shifts. "I've grown since then—not just transformation in drag, but also in mental health and my relationships," she added thoughtfully.
She reflected on her past: trying too hard, drinking too much, not really knowing herself. "I struggled so much with my identity, sure about my sexuality but lost in everything else. These four years carved a path," she admitted.
Clarity and acceptance with a diagnosis
Therapy, thanks in part due from support from RuPaul's Drag Race itself, was a big aid on Tina's journey. It inspired her return back home in NYC, leading her towards diagnoses that gave essential insights.
"I got more guidance and learned I have Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and ADHD. It feels like pieces finally clicked," she shared. "If you know me, you know I'm all about projects. Now, I'm my project."
Her diagnoses cleared a path not just towards understanding, but towards celebration and acceptance too. Earlier, fellow alum Hormona Lisa also spoke about her own Autism diagnosis, underscoring its importance.
The triumph over trials
With this comeback, Tina Burner demonstrates how criticism just sharpened her resolve. "I'm grateful even towards those who threw negativity my direction—it pushed me towards my best self," she expressed.
We're seeing this transformation as she performs. In a standout All Stars episode, Tina notched her first career challenge win, sharing that moment at top-two alongside Lydia B. Kollins.
Her commitment? It's paid off. On stage and off, her growth's undeniable.
