Fry candidly shared his fears, saying, "She has been radicalized, I fear." He called out Rowling's failure in denouncing some damaging statements from anti-trans activists. His comments highlighted his dismay over Rowling's position, which he believes only adds more weight on transgender people's shoulders.

"I'm sorry see her going down this path," Fry admitted. "I'm angry she doesn't disavow some revoling and harmful things people say. She doesn't go after those comments at all. She makes statements that are inflammatory and contemptuous, mocking and making these tough times even harder trans people."

This conversation shows a growing divide among those who once worked with Rowling, as some former allies now feel they have publicly distance themselves from her statements.
