Mike Brickner, executive director ACLU Delaware, echoed Duckett's thoughts, emphasizing how critical this event raising awareness intersex community. "Many folks in LGBTQ spectrum don't fully grasp visibility intersex individuals need," Brickner explained. "This event's a rare shot acknowledge and celebrate their experiences."

"Intersex individuals face big challenges from government, medical, and legal systems," Moran stated. "Lot folks out there, even policy-makers, are still in dark about intersex identities, sticking outdated XX/XY binary."

Before joining InterAct, Moran publicly identified as intersex and talked about how committed organization community-building and visibility. "Visibility's never been more important than it now, and River Gallo's become key figure pushing intersex movement forward," Moran added.
