Police in North Carolina Involved in Fatal Shooting of Notorious Conspiracy Theorist

The confrontation occurred on January 4, when police attempted to arrest Welch during a traffic stop due to an outstanding warrant related to a probation violation. According to reports, Welch allegedly brandished a handgun at the officers when confronted. Despite being ordered to drop his weapon, Welch did not comply, resulting in officers Brooks Jones and Caleb Tate discharging their firearms.
