From August 22nd through August 25th, this iconic celebration will take over Manchester's streets, honoring its rich history in championing LGBTQ+ rights. This year's theme, "Love," will be a vibrant thread weaving through all events.

Parade highlights

The parade, undoubtedly a highlight, kicks off at noon on Saturday, August 23rd. It all starts on Liverpool Road, winding its colorful path through Manchester's famous streets—Deansgate, Peter Street, and Oxford Road—before wrapping up on Fairfield Street at around 3 PM. Want a great view? There's a special accessible viewing spot reserved opposite The Midland Hotel on Peter Street.

Exciting events and activities

Dive right in at The Gay Village Party, running all weekend long from Friday, August 22nd, until Monday, August 25th. You'll find everything from dazzling cabaret shows and heart-pounding funfair rides, all capped off with a lively silent disco. Friday night features Samantha Mumba, Moonchild Sanelly, and Club Zindagi lighting up The Alan Turing Stage. Meanwhile, catch acts like Fat Pride, Luke Lucent, and Daniela Corvé in The Indoor Arena, until late. Saturday brings B*Witched and Diana Vickers on The Alan Turing Stage, performing from 3 PM till nightfall. Over at The Gaydio Dance Arena, dance it out at another silent disco as it echoes until 9 PM. On Sunday, prepare yourself as Sister Sledge (with Kathy Sledge), Danny Beard, Misty Chance, and more, hit The Alan Turing Stage. The Indoor Arena doesn't miss a beat either, presenting Club Dykes and Dolls, Gina Breeze, Kurlz, and Swagga, plus another round-the-clock silent disco.

Introducing Mardi Gras

This year, make sure you check out Mardi Gras happening on Saturday and Sunday, August 23rd and 24th, at Depot Mayfield. Experience electric performances by Leigh-Anne and Billy Porter, while Black Pride MCR, hosted by Darren Pritchard and Rikki Beadle-Blair, takes center stage on Saturday. Expect a vibrant celebration honoring Black queer culture. At Freight Island, catch The Danny Beard Show and Queenz: Drag Me To The Disco, along with performances by Bestley and Monopoly Phonic on The Concourse. Meanwhile, The Garden Stage will keep you moving with energetic DJ sets. On Sunday, keep soaking up Mardi Gras vibes with Olly Alexander, Nelly Furtado, and Tulisa rocking The Depot stage. And don't worry, The House Of MCR and Gaydio Dance Arena will keep those beats going all weekend long.

Celebrate creativity at The Superbia Festival

Join The Superbia Festival at Aviva Studios on Saturday, August 23rd. Supported by Factory International, this event shines a spotlight on local LGBTQ+ talent through live music, engaging panels, and creative workshops, promoting community spirit and artistic expression.

Community Lane and candlelit vigil

Stroll through Community Lane, open from 10 AM until 9 PM throughout Pride weekend, where you'll find market stalls featuring local artists and creators. It's a great chance not just shop local but also discover one-of-a-kind treasures. End your weekend on a memorable note with The Candlelit Vigil Monday evening, August 25th, from 9 PM till 10 PM. This poignant event, curated by Nathaniel J Hall and Kate O'Donnell in partnership with George House Trust, honors those lost due HIV.
