On Monday, October 13, Lucy Dacus shared her gratitude on Instagram for the couples who chose to celebrate their love during her tour. Performing her enchanting song "Best Guess" for the newlyweds, Dacus created an unforgettable moment on Kimmel's show.
During the performance, Dacus set aside her guitar and took up a ceremonial book to officiate the marriages of four couples, all of whom joyfully declared "I do." This public display of love and commitment has been a recurring highlight of Dacus' "Forever is a Feeling" tour, where she has officiated over 150 weddings in total.

Dacus also took the opportunity to criticize any governmental attempts to undermine marriage equality. "And f**k the state for continually toying around with the idea of revoking marriage equality," she stated passionately. Notably, 120 of the weddings she officiated were between queer couples. Many of these individuals chose to get married amidst fears that their right to do so might be jeopardized in the future. Dacus emphasized the importance of choosing one's family and finding love and acceptance.

Fans of Lucy Dacus can still catch her "Forever is a Feeling" tour, with several dates remaining. On November 14, she is set to perform at the Corona Capital festival in Mexico City, Mexico. The tour will then travel to the Sydney Opera House in Australia on February 10, 2026, followed by a performance at the Forum Theatre in Melbourne on February 12, 2026. A few days later, on February 18, 2026, Dacus will take the stage in Tokyo, Japan.
