Rutger published: La Voix Heartbroken Over Missing Blackpool Strictly Performance After Injury

La Voix, beloved from her time on *RuPaul's Drag Race UK*, has had some unfortunate news. She's had no choice but withdraw from *Strictly Come Dancing's* much-hyped Blackpool episode, all thanks a recent injury. It's a real letdown, especially since fans were eagerly waiting her performance on such a legendary stage.

La Voix's sparkling steps on Strictly

Teamed up with Aljaž Škorjanec, La Voix has been dazzling viewers with her electrifying performances on *Strictly Come Dancing*. Just last weekend, they wowed everyone with a jaw-dropping couple's choice routine set Barbra Streisand's timeless hit, "Don't Rain On My Parade." Their chemistry on that floor? Simply magnetic, and they're certainly among this season's fan favorites.

But then came Tuesday, November 18, when we learned that La Voix won't be hitting that dance floor on November 22's show. She's been told by doctors she needs some time out, a move that will hopefully get her back healthier and stronger.

A tough call

Thankfully, according *Strictly's* rules, La Voix and Aljaž get a bye, meaning they can remain in competition if her health holds up. Still, La Voix has spoken out about her "immense sadness" over skipping Blackpool.

In her own voice, she said, "I've been advised that I'm unable perform, and my heart truly breaks knowing I won't be dancing in such an iconic venue." You can feel her disappointment, but she's definitely determined come back even stronger.

Cheering from afar

Even with this setback, La Voix's supporting her fellow contestants from sidelines. She said, "Aljaž and I have worked incredibly hard, and we were so excited share our routine with everyone. I'm devastated not be joining rest cast on that famous dance floor, but my focus now recovery."

On Instagram, she thanked her fans and support team and shared more about her injury. "I injured my foot last week, and with help an incredible team, and a whole lot sparkles and determination, was able keep going and perform," she posted.

The show must go on

Though it's been a tough week, La Voix's spirit remains high. "As old saying goes, show must go on, and believe me, I pushed myself make sure it did," she emphasized. Her dedication both show and fans really shines through.

She wrapped up her message by promising, "I'll be back on that stage as soon as I'm able - louder, brighter, and sassier than ever."

Pushing limits on Strictly

Before this series began, La Voix chatted with press about her journey, noting how she's breaking new ground by being "the only person ever going on *Strictly* who's going be dressing down live shows," underscoring her unique style and flair.

What's ahead La Voix?

With news that hosts Claudia Winkleman and Tess Daly plan leave after this series, La Voix jokingly put her name in ring as a replacement, showing off her vibrant personality and love show.
