Karine Jean-Pierre Honored as NYC Pride Grand Marshal for Her Historic Career
Karine Jean-Pierre, a groundbreaking figure in American politics and advocacy, has been named a grand marshal for this year's New York City Pride Parade. Jean-Pierre, who served as the White House Press Secretary under President Joe Biden, will lead the march that celebrates LGBTQ+ pride and visibility alongside other notable figures who are yet to be announced.

She shared with People magazine that she is enjoying "self-care, sleep, hanging out with my family, hanging out with my friends." "It was an honor and a privilege to have the job," she said, "but I don't miss it."
