JoJo Siwa, who most people recognize from her colorful days on 'Dance Moms', recently shared a scary health incident that had her rushing off in an ambulance. This all went down right before her big show at Minnesota's Mall on America, which was all set up as a Black Friday extravaganza on November 28. Talk about timing, right?

A surprise health scare

Even with her usual high-energy vibe and jam-packed calendar, 22-year-old JoJo was hit outta nowhere with some serious stomach pain. In a heartfelt TikTok video—yes, one that lasted a straight seven minutes—JoJo opened up about this alarming ordeal that landed her in an emergency room.

"Whether I was walking or dancing, my stomach was killing me," she admitted, initially thinking it was just menstrual cramps. But as any woman knows, you can tell when it's a whole other ball game, and this pain was on another planet.

On performance day, JoJo pushed through her commitments, even filming at Mall on America. But as hours ticked by, so did her tolerance. The pain was winning, so much so that she escaped back her hotel room.

"I laid flat and suddenly realized I couldn't catch a decent breath," JoJo remembered. She attempted soaking in a warm bath but emerged feeling worse—nauseous, dizzy, and more than a little scared. It was time, she knew, that her mom, Jessalynn Siwa, stepped in.

A quick-thinking mom

JoJo's mom didn't waste a second, throwing out a quick "Let's head straight hospital!" JoJo couldn't even put on her own clothes because, yeah, it hurt that much. So, Jessalynn dialed 911 right then and there.

In hospital, JoJo's mind darted around, worrying she might have bail on her show. Doctors gave her pain relief and ran tests, finding out that her pain was courtesy a ruptured ovarian cyst causing some gnarly internal bleeding. JoJo spilled details on TikTok, telling her 46 million followers, "A cyst on one ovum popped and, well, blood was leaking. The pain was unreal."

Fighting spirit intact

After finding out what was wrong, JoJo felt a little weight off her shoulders. "We're talking serious pain, but at least there's an explanation," she said, feeling more at ease knowing what was up.

Even though she was facing a health crisis, JoJo's mind was on doing her thing on stage. She credited her quick-thinking doctors and nurses with making it possible.

"I'm getting back out there," she announced, showing everyone that classic JoJo resilience. "Being careful, sure, but ready rock and roll once more."

She took a moment thank her fans, who stood by her through thick and thin. "I'm okay not 100%, but getting there," JoJo comforted her supporters, optimistic she'd be back full throttle soon.

Fans, ever so loyal, flooded her with love. "You're amazing!" one cheered, as another told her, "Rest, JoJo, your health comes first." Yet another added, "You're such a fighter! Get well soon."

Strength in community

JoJo's ordeal hits home with so many, highlighting how critical it really pay attention your body and see doctor when something's not quite right. Her honesty about her health coupled with her dedication stands as a beacon inspiration. She truly stays strong.

As JoJo overcomes this health hurdle, she continues spark courage and determination. Her journey gently reminds us all about power in community rallying and putting our well-being first.
