Are you passionate about providing support and guidance to the LGBTQ+ community? The LGBTQ+ Center in Greater Reading, PA, is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to join our team on a part-time basis.
As a community center dedicated to fostering a safe and inclusive environment for individuals of all sexual orientations and gender identities, we are committed to supporting the mental health and well-being of our members. Our center offers a range of services, including counseling, support groups, educational workshops, and community events. We strive to create a welcoming space where everyone can feel valued, heard, and understood.
The part-time LPC Counselor will be responsible for providing individual and group counseling sessions to a diverse clientele. This role requires a deep understanding of the unique challenges faced by the LGBTQ+ community and a commitment to promoting health and wellness among our members.
Responsibilities include conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and offering therapeutic support in a safe and affirming environment. The counselor will work collaboratively with other staff members to ensure comprehensive care for clients, participating in regular meetings and supervision sessions to discuss cases and improve service delivery.
