Behind-the-scenes drama: Acacia Forgot opens up about tension with Suzie Toot

The seventeenth season has been a whirlwind on its own, but last week really turned up with a Rusical challenge that had everyone on their toes and emotions running high.

In episode eight, "The Wicked Wiz Of Oz," it was all about reimagining Oz. Acacia Forgot, known and loved as that soulful country diva, found herself landing in hot water. Unfortunately, Acacia, trying her best as Dorothy, ended up in a tense bottom two situation with Kori King, and sadly, she was sent packing as contestant number five.

Chasing Dorothy: Acacia's tough ride

Landing Dorothy wasn't a cakewalk. Right at episode's start, sparks flew as Acacia got locked in a heated exchange with Suzie Toot. Both queens were gunning hard, and Suzie didn't hold back when she doubted Acacia's comedic chops. Drama? You bet.

Reflecting afterward about that blow-up with Suzie, Acacia shared a smidgeon about their rocky past. Things are better now, she admits, but some raw feelings still linger.

"There was definitely a moment when Suzie just rubbed me wrong,” Acacia said. “She strutted around like she owned it all, especially after totally blowing it at Snatch Game. How can someone be so cocky when they didn't even nail it?”

Drama meets talent: Untangling Acacia and Suzie's story

Both these queens have mad talent, but there was no denying their tension. The intense vibe at this competition doesn't leave room, so little things can flare up easily.

Acacia believes Suzie's boldness cranked up their rivalry. “I wasn't going down without a fight,” she asserted.

Acacia confessed that Suzie's actions got under her skin. “When I'm mad, I just dive in, all fists and fire. I do hold grudges, and that was my downfall in our challenge,” she admitted.

Looking ahead: Mending fences with Suzie

Yes, Suzie has apologized, but moving fully past it? Not so easy. "I believe her apology, and we're cool now, but I won't forget it all,” Acacia said.

While Suzie Toot rocks her own fan base with her charisma and two big wins—even catching Ariana Grande's eye—her bold style sometimes rubs her peers wrong. Her confidence, especially in comedy, can come off strong.

Though she stumbled in Snatch Game, Suzie came back swinging in her rusical performance as Green Witch, impressing judges and nailing a high spot.

For those tuning in, expect more diva action as episodes drop every Friday on MTV in America and WOW Presents Plus worldwide.
