In a statement, NION said, "Too many trans people carry the weight of constant scrutiny, exclusion, and hatred. They read headlines that question their right to exist. They navigate systems that deny them dignity. They wonder if anyone truly sees them as human. We do. And we want them to know it."
The campaign encourages cisgender allies, including men who have expressed interest, to join this movement and show their support. Letters can be personal, addressing a specific trans individual in the writer's life, or general, offering support to the community at large. Each letter serves as a beacon of hope and solidarity, reminding trans individuals that they are not alone.

"Trans people are constantly bombarded by toxic messaging that makes them feel like they are the problem. We refuse to let those be the only voices they hear," NION stated. "Let's make sure they hear ours too."
The organization urges as many allies as possible to participate, highlighting that anyone can contribute regardless of their expertise or eloquence. "You don’t need to be an expert. You don’t need perfect words. You don’t need to have all the answers to complex questions. You just need to believe that trans people deserve kindness, safety, and the right to live without being blamed for harm they don’t cause," they explain.
For those interested in contributing, NION has provided a platform where letters up to 200 words can be submitted. This initiative not only strengthens the bond between allies and the trans community but also amplifies voices of support and compassion in a time when they are desperately needed.
