Chrishell Stause Shares Emotional Update Following LA Wildfires

Chrishell Stause, known for her role in the hit series 'Selling Sunset', recently shared an emotional update with her followers after she and her partner, G-Flip, had to evacuate their home amidst the Los Angeles wildfires. The star took to social media to connect with her fans and provide some personal insight into their recent ordeal.

The actress and reality star posted a heartfelt message on Instagram, recounting the harrowing experience of having to leave their home. She expressed her gratitude for the quick response of the firefighters who managed to contain the blaze, thus preventing what could have been a tragic outcome.

Evacuation During Crisis

Chrishell explained how the past couple of nights had been incredibly stressful, noting that she had barely managed to get any sleep. "Hello from California," she began, visibly shaken, "It was an extremely long two nights. I've had no sleep, we did evacuate last night but thank God they put the fire out quickly."

She went on to describe the critical situation faced by residents in the area during the wind-driven wildfires. "If it happened the night before when the winds were happening and they weren't allowed to fly, it would've been a completely different story," she added. Despite the immediate threat having been resolved, Chrishell revealed that their home was still located in a "red zone", meaning they might have to evacuate again should the fires reignite.

Support and Resilience

Chrishell, who is married to G-Flip, a non-binary Australian singer-songwriter, shared how her partner played a pivotal role in helping her cope with the stress of the situation. "Luckily I had my partner who is amazing who snapped me out of it and helped me stay focused," she said, emphasizing the importance of support during such trying times.

The couple, along with their dog, Gracie, managed to evacuate safely, and Chrishell took a moment to express her relief. "It's been a whirlwind, but we're safe, and that's the most important thing," she shared.

Staying Informed and Prepared

In her message, Chrishell also highlighted the importance of staying informed during natural disasters. She encouraged her followers to keep up with the latest updates from local authorities and be prepared to take action if necessary. She provided links to resources such as Cal Fire and the Red Cross for those who might find themselves in similar situations.

"To keep up to date with the latest wildfire evacuation orders and alerts in California, visit Cal Fire," she advised. "If you are in immediate need of help, contact your local Red Cross."

Reality Amid Entertainment

Despite the severity of the situation, Chrishell maintained a sense of duty towards her work. She acknowledged the "odd" timing of her earlier Instagram post, which promoted the new series of 'The Traitors US', but asked her fans for understanding and kindness. "I felt odd posting that, but maybe you needed a little reprieve, maybe you need escapism," she reflected. "I know here in California we could use a little bit. I have a job to do, I love doing the show."

As she concluded her message, Chrishell reminded her audience about the upcoming episodes of 'The Traitors US', inviting fans to tune in for some entertainment amidst the chaos. "Watch the first three episodes of 'The Traitors US' season three on Peacock now," she encouraged. "New episodes are released weekly on Thursdays."

Chrishell Stause's story serves as a poignant reminder of the challenges faced by those living in wildfire-prone areas, and the resilience required to navigate such crises. Her candid sharing offers both reassurance and solidarity to her fans and followers, reinforcing the community's strength in times of adversity.
