Cat Burns puts self-care first by postponing tour before new album drop

Cat Burns, a cherished queer musician and standout on reality hit show *The Celebrity Traitors*, has decided it's time she takes a beat. She's pushing back her much-anticipated tour so she can properly prepare herself and her upcoming album, *How To Be Human*. The tour, which was supposed start in November, will now hit all those big city stages in April 2026 instead.

Fans all over Britain were buzzing about seeing Burns perform live in cities like Glasgow, Manchester, Brighton, Wolverhampton, Newcastle, Bournemouth, Bristol, and London. In a heartfelt message shared on her Instagram Stories, she explained why she needed this time, revealing just how much this album and tour mean personally.

"Hey! This album and tour are everything I've been working towards," she wrote. "The journey leading up has been incredible, but it's also been more challenging than I thought it would be. So, my team and I had a tough call—they agreed we should push back *How To Be Human* Tour until April 2026."

Burns didn't hold back about how important it was was important being mentally ready, talking candidly about how grueling touring can be. She made it clear that she's committed putting her health first so she can give her fans a show that'll be truly unforgettable.

"Touring takes a toll mentally and physically, so I wanna make sure I'm right in both those areas. I wanna be at my best when I hit that stage and give you all a night that's worth every second you waited," she said in her note.

Even though fans have a bit more waiting ahead, Burns reassured everyone that their tickets are still good when new dates roll around. As a heads up, her Wolverhampton gig will now be held in Birmingham instead.

But don't fret! Even with this shift, Burns plans on treating fans with some cozy record store performances as she celebrates her album release. These shows will offer a chance see her shine in a much more intimate setting.

This focus on personal wellbeing comes at a time when Burns' star power just keeps climbing.
