"I had no idea what would happen," Bowens recalled. "I expected a few claps, not a whole arena joining in. It was surreal." This moment highlighted how far wrestling has come.
Reflecting on it, Bowens said it was a pivotal point in his career. "It was transformative," he noted, realizing he could be one first openly come out in a wrestling ring on TV. "It changed everything," he added.
